Job summary

Marriott Covington is seeking a Night Auditor at the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter in Covington, KY. This on-site, full-time overnight role focuses on accurate nightly close, guest service, and seamless next-day operations.

You will prepare daily revenue reports, balance accounts, and assist guests with requests while maintaining professional standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of hotel guest services experience, and familiarity with PMS systems such as

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year hotel guest services experience required.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS (OPERA, OnQ) preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to guests with prompt, courteous responses.
• Prepare daily Food & Beverage revenue reports and balance PMS reports.
• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the system to generate daily reports.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs and answer phone calls professionally.
• Resolve guest concerns with attentive service recovery.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver unparalleled service, courtesy, and care to our guests by responding promptly and effectively to guest questions and requests
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in preparing daily Food & Beverage revenue reports, and in creating and balancing PMS reports for revenue and settlement accounts
• Make corrections and adjustments via the PMS and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the computer system to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
• Efficiently conduct check-ins, check-outs, and promptly answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Resolve guest concerns with attentive service recovery

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
• Standing and moving about in the guest services and restaurant/bar areas throughout the shift
• Primarily standing for majority of shift

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Hotel experience preferred
• 1-year experience as a Guest Services Agent required
• Knowledge of accounting operations such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, server service fees, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills to prepare financial reporting
• Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: OPERA, OnQ
