Job summary

Hampton Inn Fairhope-Mobile Bay is seeking a Night Auditor to assist guests with overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. You will check in guests, handle reservations, reconcile daily transactions, and keep front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

The role requires ability to work the night audit shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, deliver exceptional service, maintain accuracy, and collaborate with team to ensure guest satisfaction and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/night audit experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent grooming standards and professional appearance.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets.
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists.
• Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check in/out.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
• Attend appropriate training courses, when required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages and promotions.
• Follow company brand standards.
• Assist with overall cleanliness of hotel public spaces.
• Support guests and team members to maintain smooth front desk operations.

Location

We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

MUST be able to work the Night Audit shift, which is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

As a Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions and to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

• Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
• Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check in/out
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
• Attend appropriate training courses, when required
• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
• Follow company brand standards
• Assist with overall cleanliness of hotel public spaces
