Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Substitute Night Auditor for the Courtyard New York Manhattan Fifth Avenue location. This role involves performing night audit operations, balancing revenue and settlements, and coordinating with security and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have hotel experience, solid math skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in front office systems and 10-key calculations.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key.
• Ability to effectively handle guest and associate concerns in a friendly, positive manner.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports and audit POS tapes to break down revenue, covers, tips and settlements.
• Run audit reports from front office systems and POS; make corrections as needed.
• Balance revenue and settlements nightly and reset systems for the next day.
• Input revenue/expenses into the front office system to generate daily summaries.
• Ensure compliance with attendance rules and be available on a regular basis.
