Job summary

Shaner Group is seeking a Night Auditor responsible for attending to guest needs, balancing daily revenue/expenses, and performing front desk duties during audit shifts. Strong communication and guest service skills are essential to meet and exceed guest expectations.

The role requires flexibility for weekends, holidays, and overnight hours, with emphasis on accuracy in cash handling and adherence to hotel policies. Prior hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
