Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to support the overnight front desk team. You will audit, balance, and reconcile the day’s financial transactions while delivering exceptional guest service during late hours.

Your role involves handling room charges, payments, and incidentals, generating end-of-day reports, and acting as the point of contact for guests during the night. Strong attention to detail and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Overnight audit and accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with hotel property management systems (InforHMS, Opera) is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit and balance transactions in hotel systems.
• Reconcile guest accounts and verify room charges, payments, and incidentals.
• Prepare end-of-day financial reports for management review.
• Provide front desk services during the night, including check-ins/check-outs and guest inquiries.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and emergencies following hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate billing and process payments (cash, card) as required.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security for overnight issues.
