Job summary

Encore Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to perform essential accounting and guest service tasks during the overnight shift. This role involves balancing nightly financial transactions, processing check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining accurate records.

The Night Auditor ensures security and smooth operation of the hotel at night, while collaborating with other departments to address guest requests and issues and to generate nightly reports for management review.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in a front desk or accounting role is preferred, with some hotel experience being an advantage.
• Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reconciliation and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of all financial transactions and balance accounts.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate guest records.
• Monitor hotel security and safety during the night.
• Communicate with Front Desk Supervisor and other departments as needed.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions to guests.
• Operate and manage the hotel’s PMS and related software; generate reports and resolve issues.
