Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

The role includes registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks at our Houston-area property. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot to resolve guest issues and emergencies.
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Able to convey information clearly and evaluate options quickly.
• Maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Register guests and make reservations during the overnight shift.
• Prepare daily reports and balance transactions.
• Conduct security walks and maintain front desk operations from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Balance day’s work and complete nightly cash handling tasks.
• Run morning reports and daily flash reports as needed.
• Train new Night Auditors as requested by management.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain proper record keeping.
