Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee the front desk during the night shift, ensure payments are posted, and reconcile accounts for the day. The ideal candidate has prior guest service or front desk experience and familiarity with PMS, Quore, PBX, and hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, front desk or guest-related roles.
• Front desk or night auditor experience preferred.
• Experience with PMS, Quore, PBX and other hotel systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 or similar apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
• Answers inquiries and accepts hotel reservations.
• Resolves guest problems and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Responds to reservations and guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Uses upselling to sell rooms and increase revenue.
• Balances and reconciles accounts for the day shift.
• Allocates rooms based on guest preferences and requests.
• Ensures wake-up calls and messages are handled promptly.
• Verifies billing accuracy and processes payments on file.
• Handles group arrivals and pre-registers guests.
• Posts transactions to rooms or ledgers and closes daily reports.
• Ensures end-of-day procedures are completed and balanced.
• Enter room cleanings in Hotel Effectiveness system.
• Attends required meetings and stays compliant with safety procedures.
