Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and complete daily reports from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The role includes registering guests, making reservations, balancing transactions and performing security walks to ensure property safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel experience, a high school diploma, proficiency with Windows and office software, and the ability to work independently in a high‑pressure environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Must be able to troubleshoot guest issues and respond to emergencies.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Clear communication of information and ideas.
• Ability to handle problems quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources.
• Must work with and understand financial data and basic arithmetic.
• Self-managed environment.
• Active listening and clarity with coworkers and guests.
• Maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.
• Adhere to brand standards for appearance and grooming.
• Comply with safety and operational regulations.
• Run end-of-day processes and balance transactions.
• Complete nightly audit checklists and daily revenue summaries.
• Maintain front office systems and cashiering duties during overnight hours.
• Respond to guest requests between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Follow emergency procedures and keep proper records.
• Train new Night Auditors as needed.
• Coordinate with security to ensure area locks and safety.
