Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center is seeking an Overnight Agent to perform the night audit, reconcile accounts, and post the day’s charges. The role emphasizes accurate guest check-in/check-out, payment processing, and answering guest inquiries.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain confidentiality of guest information. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of experience in customer service and/or hotel experience is preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out of hotel guests.
• Process all payments according to hotel requirements.
• Provide information to guests or visitors’ inquiries.
• Impute accurate reservations and handle front desk calls.
• Alert staff of VIP arrivals and follow up on status.
• Maintain clean workstations and update housekeeping statuses.
• Promote positive guest relations at Guest Services areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
