Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University is seeking an Overnight Agent responsible for completing the night audit, reconciling accounts, and posting all charges for the day, while ensuring accuracy and guest service.

Duties include check-in/check-out, processing payments, providing information to guests, imputing reservations, answering front desk calls, and alerting staff to VIP arrivals. Maintain workstation cleanliness and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2 years of customer service/hotel experience is preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out guests accurately and courteously.
• Process all payments according to hotel requirements.
• Provide information to guests and visitors as needed.
• Input reservations and answer front desk calls, alerting staff of VIP arrivals.
• Meet with departing staff to review business status and follow-up items.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Adjust housekeeping statuses as needed and communicate discrepancies.
• Promote positive guest relations at all Guest Services areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
