Job summary

Rayland Hotel in The Dalles, OR is seeking a Night Audit Front Desk Agent to oversee nightly operations, reconcile transactions, and prepare reports. You will assist with guest check-ins/outs and ensure accuracy of guest accounts while addressing guest inquiries during the night.

The role requires overnight availability (11 PM–7 AM), attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Join a small team dedicated to guest satisfaction and smooth day-end transitions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Security, military, police, accounting, or hotel experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with ability to review reports for errors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work overnight shifts.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to guests throughout the night.
• Oversee the hotel's transition from one day to the next.
• Conduct nightly audits of the hotel's financial transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to management.
• Ensure accuracy of guest accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues during the night.
• Update the status of rooms for operational and security reasons.
• Manage IT or software issues with basic technical aptitude as needed.
