Job summary

DKN HOTEL GROUP in Oxnard, CA seeks an entry-level Front Desk Clerk to provide friendly, personalized service to hotel guests. You will greet arrivals, handle check-ins, and assist with reservations in a courteous, accurate manner.

The role requires at least two years front desk exposure, English proficiency, and solid cash handling, computer, and communication skills. This is a full-time graveyard shift, contributing to the Home Away From Home guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel front desk operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and complete check-in procedures daily.
• Facilitate guest departures, close accounts and determine future room availability.
• Balance cash and credit transactions; handle receipts and charges at check-out.
• Answer inquiries and accept reservations using reservation guidelines.
• Communicate hotel rates and information; upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain guest relations with timely, knowledgeable responses in person and by phone.
• Operate PBX equipment, take calls, set wake-up calls, and assist guests.
• Contribute to team and hotel performance; support other departments as needed.
• Deliver DKN’s Home Away From Home experience.
