Fairview Range in Hibbing, MN is hiring an Admitting Clerk (Nights) to support the admissions process for non-scheduled and pre-registered patients. You will collect and verify demographic and insurance information, explain forms, capture signatures, scan documents, and assist with check-in and billing workflows while upholding patient service standards.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be proficient in computer use.
• AA or AS with medical terminology education.
• Clerical experience and health insurance processing knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and enter required information for all access patients.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure accurate dates.
• Explain forms to patients and collect signatures when needed.
• Print wristbands and labels; notify departments of arrival.
• Complete check-in for each encounter and assist with billing workflows.
