Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator for the night shift to support on-site registration and arrival processes. You will collect demographic and insurance information, assist with financial clearance, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding compliance standards.

The role requires familiarity with medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding, and insurance workflows to facilitate smooth patient experiences within Providence facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in healthcare or business administration is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Patient Access or a business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD coding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled or unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information and any patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions for assigned accounts.
• Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly manner while maintaining compliance.
