Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Patient Access or a business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of experience using medical terminology in a job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT/ICD).
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process.
• Complete demographic and insurance information collection; collect patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions for scheduled accounts and ensure compliance.
