Job summary

Providence is seeking an on-site Patient Admissions Coordinator to support the registration and arrival process for both scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will collect demographics, insurance details, and patient responsibility, while performing financial clearance for assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access or business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years using medical terminology in daily work.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete patient demographics, insurance information, and patient liability collection at time of service.
• Provide financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements; document information timely and accurately.
