Job summary

Allied Universal, Leesburg, VA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Rights Administrator to protect clients across a technology data center. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, patrol premises, and deliver professional customer service while upholding policy requirements.

You’ll work night shifts at a technology-focused location, earning $26.06 per hour and benefiting from Allied Universal’s tools and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry and exit processes for sensitive areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns or unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and policy exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
