Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry and exit processes for sensitive areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns or unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and policy exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
