Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman Respiratory Therapy Services is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts in the NICU. The role requires NBRC-credentialed RRT and current state licensure, with at least 2 years of critical care experience for certain areas.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Graduate with an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; an Associate's degree is required, BA/BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains oxygen delivery equipment and related therapies per protocol.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts diagnostic procedures as required.
• Monitors and maintains ventilators (mechanical and non-invasive) and assesses care plans.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations on care plans and patient education.
• Documents therapy and communicates results to the healthcare team.
• Performs and evaluates blood gas sampling and interprets results.
