Medical City Arlington is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU. You will deliver specialized respiratory care in a high-acuity NICU, perform patient assessments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure best outcomes.

The role requires certification as a State Registered Respiratory Therapist, active RRT/RCP credentials, and relevant NICU experience. You may contribute as a preceptor and potential charge nurse during your shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and Neonatal Resuscitate (NRP) within specified timeframes.
• PALS certification within 60 months of employment start date.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (active).
• RRT / Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure required.
• Associate degree in a related field or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional respiratory care in NICU per standards of care.
• Assist with patient assessments, acuity, and care planning.
• Supervise nursing personnel and students as assigned.
• Precept and potentially function as charge nurse in shifts.
