Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, WA seeks a staff RN with NICU experience for nights. This 0.9 FTE position offers 12-hour night shifts and the chance to work in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a multidisciplinary team.

Two years NICU experience preferred; BSN preferred. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation up to $10,000, plus tuition assistance and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or PALS or NALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost containment.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and health-care staff.
