Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA seeks a staff RN for PICU/CICU with 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends. The role emphasizes specialized pediatric care within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires Washington RN licensure (MLS acceptable), BLS, and preferred CICU experience. Sign-on up to $20k, relocation up to $10k, and tuition assistance are available; strong benefits and PTO support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care per hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
