Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA seeks an experienced staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This role advances specialized pediatric nursing within a multidisciplinary setting focused on safety, quality and family-centered care.

FTE 0.9, night shifts with 12-hour rotations. Requires three years NICU (level IV), PICU or Peds ED experience; BLS, PALS, NRP; STABLE and STABLE Cardiac within one year; and TNCC within one year.

Qualifications

• Three years NICU (level IV), PICU or Peds ED experience is required.
• Three years neonatal and/or pediatric transport experience preferred.
• BLS, PALS, NRP required.
• STABLE and STABLE Cardiac required within one year of hire.
• TNCC required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
