Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a staff RN to join our hospital-based team for 12-hour night shifts. This 0.9 FTE role supports a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a multidisciplinary approach and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.

The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with diverse teams, and uphold family-centered care principles while advancing professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent within five years from hire date.
• WA RN license or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or PALS or TNCC or NRP as required by department.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Use nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diversity.

NICU/PICU/Peds ED experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
