Job summary

Banner Health's Desert NICU in Mesa, AZ, seeks an experienced NICU RN for a full-time night shift (7PM–7:30AM) with an 18% night differential and $3/hour weekend differential. The 76-bed NICU features high- and lower-acuity units, family-centered care, and close collaboration with a wide interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Arizona).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, acute environment.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care in accordance with policy.
• Develop and revise care plans, including discharge planning, with input from the patient and family.
• Implement care, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and supervise care provided by others.
• Document care and patient response in the medical record.
• Contribute to quality improvement and shared leadership within the unit.
