Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a dedicated RN for the Neonatal ICU (NICU) at Banner Thunderbird in Glendale, AZ. This full-time night shift role (7:00PM–7:30AM) offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to care for newborns with complex needs in a Level III NICU, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and coordination of nursing care, with emphasis on safety, quality, and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care across physical, psychological, social, and developmental domains.
• Formulate and update a comprehensive plan of care in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate and supervise care delivery, and communicate status to the team.
• Document care and outcomes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
