Job summary

UVA Health Northern VA Culpeper is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU to join our care team. The RN will lead patient care planning, collaborate with physicians, and implement evidence-based plans to support optimal patient outcomes.

This role requires RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with CPI certification within 3 months of hire for specified departments. Full-time schedule, with on-site patient care across the NICU.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state required.
• CPI certification within three months of hire required for Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and CSSO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team by establishing an authentic patient relationship and coordinating care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications and document care per policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to support patient and family.
