Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of NICU or relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure: Current RN licensure in Virginia; CPI certification within 3 months for certain units.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and document care; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for NICU patients as part of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document interventions.
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR as needed.
