Job summary

HonorHealth's Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is hiring a registered nurse for the evening shift in the Nursery Level II. The RN applies ANA standards of practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.

The role requires current AZ RN licensure, BLS certification, and education meeting BSN timelines, with a strong focus on pediatric and neonatal care in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• All Diploma/ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience: med-surg or acute care >10 months; float position requires 1 year RN experience.
• Licenses: AZ RN license, BLS certification; national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per ANA standards across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Record patient histories, monitor conditions, and coordinate with physicians.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; ensure safe dosing and interactions.
• Teach patients and families about care needs and home plans.
• Mentor new staff and maintain current nursing practice knowledge.

Education
