Job summary

HonorHealth's Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa seeks an experienced RN for OR Preop/PACU. The role guides nursing care under ANA standards, with responsibilities from data collection to care planning and family education.

The RN will administer therapies, monitor patients, collaborate with the care team, and support ongoing clinical development. A valid AZ RN license is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in preop PACU, call shifts.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in Arizona upon hire.
• BSN preferred; if starting with ADN/ diploma, BSN must be completed within 60 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, document, and monitor preop and PACU patients per ANA standards.
• Administer medications and IV therapies with careful dosage checks.
• Plan and implement individualized care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment and home care needs.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing competency activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
