Qualifications

• RN licensed by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Graduation from an NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• NRP Certification or ARC certification.
• 1–2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experience.
• Preferred: Neonatal Nursing certification.

Responsibilities

• The RN Staff Nurse provides care for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes.
• Directs and oversees care by delegating, validating, evaluating, and coordinating with team members.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager.
