Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a day shift, full‑time Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to deliver expert nursing care to our vulnerable newborns.

In this role you will collaborate with physicians, support staff, and families, coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and participate in ongoing education and charge nurse activities as directed. A supportive team and commitment to quality care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN with New Jersey Board of Nursing licensed.
• Accredited nursing program (NLN/AACN).
• BLS within 14 days of hire.
• NRP Certification or ARC.
• 1-2 years NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for a specific neonatal patient population to achieve desired outcomes.
• Direct and oversee care through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
• Report to the Nurse Manager.
