Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role. You will educate families, model clinical best practices, and care for neonates using advanced equipment and evidence-based approaches.

The position supports rotating day/night shifts with weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum 1 year RN experience and Maryland license are required, along with BLS; NICU requires NRP and additional certifications as

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX is required.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty (NICU: NRP).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role model to Level I nurses and support best practices.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties.
• Develop a care plan according to patient population.
• Identify changes in patient condition and take corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Apply evidence findings to practice and pursue improvements.
