Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU department in Rockville, MD. The part-time RN will work two 12-hour night shifts weekly (7pm–7am) and educate families along the continuum of care while modeling best practices.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, Maryland RN license, NCLEX completion, and BLS; NICU requires NRP; ACLS/PALS as needed. Competitive benefits apply, with shift differential eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX is required.
• Current Maryland State nursing license is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care.
• Serve as patient care role model and support best practices.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population; monitor changes.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
