Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the NICU. The part-time RN will educate families, mentor staff, and manage care under ANA standards. NICU requires NRP; other certifications as needed.

Responsibilities include using EHRs, leading rounds, and improving patient outcomes while aligning with our faith-based mission. Employment offers competitive benefits and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX required.
• Maryland RN license current.
• Active BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP as NICU requires.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
• Serve as role model to Level I nurses and support best practices.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to ANA standards.
• Delegate non-nursing duties and maximize efficiency.
• Develop care plans per patient population.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate action.
• Mentor students, colleagues and team members.
