Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a NICU registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care in a fast-paced unit. You will coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate changes in a patient’s condition promptly.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and hold a current CT RN license. BLS and NRP certifications are required within one year of hire. This role reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and hold a current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS and NRP certification within one year of hire and maintain clinical competency during employment with HHC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care in the NICU.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team, patients and families; communicate changes in condition promptly.
