Northwell Health, through Danbury Hospital, seeks an experienced NICU RN to provide expert patient care in a 36-hour shift setting. The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS, NICU experience, and readiness to obtain NRP within 3 months of hire.

Day-to-day duties include assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a high-acuity NICU. The unit emphasizes safety, quality outcomes, and family-centered care, with opportunities for professional development and dedicated shift

Qualificações

• CT RN license required.
• Minimum 6 months NICU RN experience.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• PALS or ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychological & cognitive status.
• Formulates a goal directed plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a knowledgeable, skilled, and continuous manner.
• Establishes priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and patient progression toward outcomes.
• Identifies learning needs and implements appropriate measures.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary functions.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
