Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year RN experience or successful completion of the Backus Hospital Nurse Residency Program.
• Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical competence through the nursing process.
• Assess and identify patient problems and needs.
• Establish a plan of care and evaluate care provided to patients.
