Job summary

St Anthony North Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU-focused team. In this role you will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families, promoting safe, high-quality care.

You will work in a Level II NICU with cross-training for transition and postpartum care, adhere to nursing standards, and apply the nursing process within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (RN); Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert up to 50 lbs., up to 20 lbs. frequently, up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
