Job summary

St Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families. You will promote safe, compassionate care and adhere to nursing standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.

You will assess needs, implement plans, and document outcomes while educating patients and families. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and document status and interventions accurately; use IT to support decision-making.
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess teaching effectiveness.
