Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join a mission-driven team. You will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare group and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, upholding the nursing process and standards.

You will promote patient health and safety, document care thoroughly, and participate in education for patients and families. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; endorsement acceptable.
• RN license required; active license in CO or compact state.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs; document and update status and plan.
• Develop and implement patient care plans jointly with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and use IT to support decision-making and communication.
• Advocate for patient safety and rights; educate patients and families.
• Schedule-driven, call-intensive shifts with varied hours and weekends.
