Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist NICU PEDS RRT to provide specialized care in the NICU and pediatric populations. The role emphasizes proficiency across respiratory modalities and adherence to hospital policies, with potential supervision of Respiratory Students in clinical settings.

The ideal candidate will have NBRC CRT/RRT credentials, Texas licensure, and BLS, with PALS and NRP expected shortly after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by NBRC.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU and/or Pediatrics.
• CRT, RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• PALS required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care.
• Execute assignments with NICU/Pediatric focus.
• Comply with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.
