Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for NICU and pediatric patient care. You will demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care and execute assignments under hospital policies, potentially collaborating with Respiratory Students in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT), a Texas license, and current BLS, with PALS and NRP within specified timelines. ACLS is preferred depending on unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduated from NBRC-recognized Respiratory Care program.
• 1 year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU/Pediatrics training.
• CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification.
• PALS within 30 days of hire.
• NRP within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of respiratory care modalities.
• Care for NICU and pediatric patients.
• Execute assigned respiratory care plans per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Students in the clinical setting.
