Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist NICU/PEDS RRT to join our team. You will provide specialized care across NICU and pediatric patients, executing assignments per policies while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have a NBRC-accredited education, CRT/RRT, Texas license, and BLS; PALS and NRP within specified timelines are required, with ACLS preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduated from NBRC-recognized Respiratory Care program.
• One year of Respiratory Care experience with NICU/Pediatrics training.
• CRT and RRT NBRC certification required on hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS required; PALS within 30 days; NRP within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and Pediatric patient care.
• Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

Education

Accredited Respiratory Care program (NBRC recognition)

NBRC CRT/RRT certification

Texas Medical Board Respiratory Care Practitioner license

BLS provider (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

PALS within 30 days of hire

NRP within 90 days of hire

ACLS preferred (facility-based)
