Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a Respiratory Therapist NICU/PEDS RRT to deliver comprehensive respiratory care with NICU and pediatric focus. The role requires NBRC credentials, Texas licensing, and pediatric experience.

The candidate will implement therapies, supervise students, and ensure adherence to hospital policies while supporting a high-quality patient care environment in a large tertiary facility.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized Respiratory Care program.
• 1 year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU/Pediatrics training.
• CRT and RRT certification by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• PALS required within 30 days of hire; NRP within 90 days; ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Provide proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and Pediatric focus.
• Execute assignments in accordance with hospital respiratory policies.
• Coordinate care with Respiratory Students in the clinical setting.
• Support ongoing patient evaluations and therapy adjustments as needed.
