Medical City Dallas is hiring a Respiratory Therapist NICU/PEDS with RRT credentials. The role emphasizes NICU and pediatrics care and requires NBRC certification, Texas licensure, and current BLS, with PALS and NRP planned within set timelines.

The staff therapist will work under hospital policies, perform all modalities of respiratory care, and may interact with respiratory students in clinical training, contributing to patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU and/or Pediatrics training.
• CRT and RRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS required; PALS within 30 days; NRP within 90 days; ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and Pediatric patient care.
• Execute assignments while complying with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May supervise Respiratory Students in the clinical setting.
