Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist NICU/PEDS RRT to join our team. The staff therapist will demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory care modalities and NICU/pediatric competencies, and will execute assignments in line with hospital policies.

Requirements include NBRC CRT/RRT, Texas license, and current BLS; PALS within 30 days, NRP within 90 days, ACLS preferred depending on facility. Collaboration with students may occur in clinical care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU and/or Pediatrics training.
• CRT, RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider required; PALS and NRP within specified timelines.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional NICU and Pediatric competency.
• Execute assignments as part of the respiratory care team in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting when applicable.
