Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist NICU PEDS RRT to join our team. The role emphasizes NICU and pediatric respiratory care with adherence to hospital policies and supervision of students when applicable.

Required credentials include NBRC-accredited education, CRT/RRT at hire, TX license, and active BLS; PALS and NRP within specified timelines are expected, ACLS is preferred by the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduated from NBRC-recognized school for Respiratory Care.
• 1 year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU/Pediatrics training.
• CRT, RRT by NBRC on hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider required.
• PALS required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and Pediatric focus.
• Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.
