Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a Respiratory Therapist NICU/PEDS RRT to join our staff. The role covers all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU and pediatric focus, aligning with hospital policies.

Candidates must graduate from NBRC-accredited program, hold CRT/RRT, Texas license, be BLS, and obtain PALS within 30 days and NRP within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized accredited school for Respiratory Care.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU and/or Pediatrics.
• CRT and RRT by NBRC on hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• PALS required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care.
• Execute assigned respiratory care tasks.
• Provide care with NICU and pediatric patients.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical setting.
